Ralph and Clare Rudolph Scholarship

I am pleased to announce this year’s Ralph and Clare Rudolph Scholarship was awarded to two individuals. The winner of the 4 year scholarship is Stephanie Sandoval. Her father is Jose Orlando Sandoval; an Asset Coordinator in Springdale. She will receive $2,000 per year for the next four years as she pursues a degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Arkansas. Stephanie will be graduating from Springdale High School this spring.

Roses made from Cone Filters for American Heart Association Ball

Every year for the American Heart Association in Chattanooga, TN hosts its annual ball and the main decoration is roses. Mr. Mike Lees is the event designer. He and his team of volunteers use #4 white cone filters to hand make the roses for the decorations. Each rose takes 15 minutes to make using 10 filters per rose, spray paints them, lets them dry overnight, and then hand curls each petal with a squarer. This year…
