Rockline Industries Community Contributions
We believe there is a responsibility for businesses, like members of society, to be good citizens. Rockline and its associates actively serve the communities in which we live.
Rockline Industries was proud to sponsor over 60 associates and guests to walk/run in this 4 mile American Cancer Fund Fundraiser held at the Road America Race Track in Elkhart Lake, WI on Saturday, October 28, 2017. This event typically draws over 3,000 participants and raises over $180,000. Rockline’s walkers/runners were encouraged to have family and friends sponsor them by making a financial donation to the American Cancer Society. Rockline associates and guests enjoyed a nice lunch after the walk/run.
Feed My Starving Children
On October 12th, a team of Rockline associates helped turn hunger into hope by packing nutritious meals for hungry children around the world. The pack we volunteered for was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, WI. Because of the generosity of the volunteers and donators for this pack, 2,190 children will be fed for an entire year.
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers across the country to pack food that is later sent to areas around the world where children are malnourished.
New Jersey participated in a 5K walk for the American Cancer Society. It was on Sunday, October 15 Making Strides Parsippany, NJ. 22 associates walked with family and friends. We raised $1085. Our team name was Rockline Rocks!
On Tuesday October 3, 2017 – 33 people (mixture of Rockline Global Strategic Sourcing associates and their suppliers) volunteered their time and skills to Habitat for Humanity for 2 separate projects. Project #1 – Habitat for Humanity House in Sheboygan Falls, WI from 8-11 am. Project #2 – working in the Sheboygan, WI ReStore from 8-11 am. Great way to provide a positive impact on the community while working collaboratively with our valued suppliers.
